This place has the best service, the food is good, the wine list with good choices but expensive. The restaurant itself has a good atmosphere.

I went with my husband during restaurant month promotion. The place was packed. The service is prompt and nice. The food was not as we expected to match their price. The appetizers were good; I like the mushroom soup and my husband like the paper thin cold cut beef. However the steak my hubby ordered was way too salty with... More

Tried the steak frites and the meat was just done to the right temperature. Extensive and impressive wine list, And the dessert, just it is a must to try the Valrhona Chocolate Layer Cake

My large party enjoyed its recent Grill 23 dinner, with excellent service and very satisfying food. The steaks were delicious, and the restaurant offered abundant seafood, poultry and vegetarian options for non-meat eaters, though the swordfish was overcooked/dry. Wine selections were well varied and nicely served. While the restaurant accommodated allergies and sensitivities, the gluten intolerant members of our group... More

Classic style steak house, it has been around for a long time. Steaks are amazing. Great atmosphere. Really good for business, romance, or friends. Service is tops too. But, two things stand out. Amazing wine list, one of the best I've ever seen. And a sommelier that is truly helpful.

I've been fortunate enough to eat at some great steak restaurants and this one features high up on my list. Everything, from the ambience to the staff, and the wine menu to the food, is easily five stars. We had a mixture of the Kobe and 100 day aged ribeye steaks, both very different but equally enjoyable. Try your hardest... More

We had a business dinner in three. Oysters (with some tomato dressing and a slight chili other one). A stake tartar well prepared. For main course we had aged ribeye, kobe beef and porterhouse. All of them were perfect. Juicy, cooked exactly how we ordered (medium to rare) but with crispy out layer and were tender. The service was attentive... More

A friend recommended that we try out this steakhouse when in Boston, and as luck would have it, it was directly opposite the Loews hotel where we were staying. We went on a Saturday night in December and the place was packed. We got a table in a quiet (ish) corner upstairs which we were pretty pleased about, because (as... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
