In the North End, we had lots of choices and found this gem. The gnocchi was light, served with fresh mozzarella and a tasty tomato gravy. Huge portion size. My husband enjoyed his big bowl of minestrone soup. If you want solitude, you’ll find it...More

Super tasty traditional Italian food! They have an excellent outdoor eating area in the warm weather (this October!). The eggplant rollitini was amazing - not greasy, super flavorful. We also had manicotti - amazing - and my daughter had the baked scrod - also amazing!...More

After a chilly North End tour we were looking for a nice warm meal. Our guide pointed us in the direction of Mother Anna's and we were not disappointed. My mom and I both had the linguine and meatballs and it was a perfect choice....More

Great place to have an excellent meal. There is a great view of the city and great drinks. Right next to the Italian neighborhood.

Great place to drink beer with friends, the only problem is that the beer was not that cold. Ps. You should ask for stuffed mushrooms, is amazing but the portion is too small.

Happened upon this place. Completely thrilled with the service & food . . . And we are picky. We will be back! Very genuine- calamari-mussels to die for and eggplant. Go. Don’t think about it just go.

We enjoyed the food a lot. The antipasto was varied and fresh. The veal Roberto was lovely crumbed veal, an excellent garlic sauce and prawns. However the service was odd. I was still chewing the veal and my wife was still eating it off her...More

Their tomato sauce is really outstanding, being not too strong or overpowering. It is slightly on the sweeter side. The place was packed on a Saturday night, but we had reservations.

Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like
being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church

They did not have gluten free options. It was the worst Italian food I have ever had.
