After reading all the great reviews, my partner and I were very excited to try what looked like an amazing seafood experience. Should have known when we walked in the door at 5:30pm and was told no tables were available till 9:30pm but we could sit at the bar if we liked. I'm not sure if it was the fact... More

Great quality seafood and all dishes were well executed. Not the cheapest restaurant but worth it. Very busy, even mid-week so book ahead. Highly recommended, will return.

Make a reservation it gets very busy. We had oysters for appetizers and the selection was great, the clam chowder was very good too.

Extremely noisy, rude server who was not very familiar with the food or beverage menu, food was below average. Lots of better places to go in this area. We felt as if our being there was an inconvenience for our waiter.

Having located this nearby place (we were on Newbury St.) on the app and seeing that it is highly rated, we were eager to dig into the famous clam chowder. Although reservations are recommended as this restaurant can be full on most days, we were lucky to be seated as walk-ins in just 5 minutes. The soups came in small... More

A lovely restaurant with exceptional atmosphere, service and amazing food!! We started with steamed mussels (hubby) and a beet/goat cheese salad, both fabulous! And huge!! Definitely could have shared (I had to leave 1/2 my salad on the plate or I never would have been able to eat my entree). I ordered the grilled salmon with gnocchi and my husband... More

I judge trips and vacations on the basis of how good my fish dinner is (odd, but true). Lots of fish to be had in Boston, but this is clearly among the best I have ever had. Great service, deliicious fish. And the brussel sprouts and the mushrooms are outta site! Do not miss this place

Tourist always ask " Where should go to dinner?" "Do you want seafood" is always my first question. "Obviously, we're in Boston and we need chowdah and fresh fish!" "Great" I reply, "I know just the spot!" Atlantic Fish Company! Simply the best fresh fish in the city if you want a nice chowdah, a great salad and amazing entree.... More

Great restaurant, spacious, attentive and profesional staff, nice atmosphere. Food was delicious. We had the seafood tower. Great oysters, clams, shrimp, and lobster. I had the seafood risotto. Perfectly seasoned and delicious. It's pricey, so know what you're getting yourself into. This is not a big portion restaurant. It's a well portioned restaurant. I did not leave hungry. I did... Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
