I always worry when a sign advertising a restaurant has to use the word "authentic." And so we come to El Paso enchilada authentic Mexican and breakfast and coffee. Located in the heart of Boston it's a long way from Mexico and to be honest a fair way from being authentic. It's good Mexican if you want to feed the... More

We had the chorizo breakfast and it was very good. And cheap. And the people were very friendly. They have quite an extensive menu of fajitas and nachos and burritos and tacos and quesadillas and enchiladas ...

Cool little dive. Squeeze some lime and a bit of hot sauce and you are in for a treat. Worth every dollar.

I've had a lot of burritos, this was the best I ever had! It was so good I came back the next day for another one! Friendly people running this place. Check it out if you're in the market!

I walked the entire market before deciding to eat here. Although the service was excellent, with my food being made after I gave my order and was asked what my preferences were it would have been even more fantastic if it weren't so salty. Even with the fresh tomatoes in the pico de gallo to offset saltiness the salt was... More

If you're looking for good black beans, I would recommend this establishment. Also, the salad was fresh and much appreciated when you are on the run. In a busy establishment, such as Quincy Market, it is a pleasure to come across good legumes.

There isn't very much in the way of early breakfast in downtown Boston, unless you're looking for fast food or simple baked goods. There are places, but they can be a little spotty, depending on the neighborhood. A good bet is to head for the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. There are several food places open by 8 AM, so you can... Went to Quincy Market location with my son and daughter-in-law. I ordered enchiladas and what I got was tacos with sauce on them. I told the man behind counter I ordered enchiadas and he told me that is what I had. To top it off they tasted bad. I wish I had thrown them away. Although I had eaten nothing... More

The service is terrible, the food is even worse! I'm not picky, but this food was just plain gross. When I brought the food back he told me he had a feeling I wouldn't like it. Um, can u say horrible customer service!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
