My meal (veal parmigiana) was delicious, hot and fresh Pino's warm welcome and the selection of traditional Italian dinners are highlights. You'd feel like you were eating in Naples.

We love this small intimate restaurant. The owner is a gem and never fails to brighten our day. His stories entertain ...He is a wealth of sports predictions and lore. Pino waits on his customers and is a generous host. He makes you feel like family.

Was looking forward to sharing my father's favorite North End restaurant with a friend. We had had an early dinner and couldn't wait to have their wonderful tiramisu and a cappuccino. It was after 8pm on a Thursday, the restaurant was quiet, not busy at all. I told the owner as we entered we were just there for dessert and... More

We were in Boston on the way back to Seattle and hoped for an Italian dinner. We happened upon this amazing place. As we walked up, the owner had kicked out some drunk and disrespectful people. I applauded him for not tolerating bad behavior. We had to wait but it was worth it. Loved his connection to the Red Sox.... More

We had a great dinner in this little Italian eatery. The food is delicious and it is served with a hug and lots of great stories from the charismatic owner. We started with grilled fresh calamari. Scrumptious. Our main courses were a fresh mushroom bow tie pasta and porcini ravioli combo. My husband got the perfectly prepared veal Parmesan and... More

Great food, service. Small restaurant but service was very friendly and it was a place locals came. Would recommend highly. Food was outstanding ! My son had linguini with clam sauce and said it was best he ever had . The calamari salad was incredible.

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
