We arrived late for our reservation (due to weather -- snowstorm) and that must have put us in very bad standing with the wait staff because we literally had NO service for our entire visit. Given that the chocolate bar is self-serve, we only needed help with coffee which we had to beg for from any passing staff. We were... More

We had reservations and were seated immediately! Our Mimosa's were made with bottled OJ... not very good. Our coffee was bold and delicious. The food was of high quality. The omelettes were made fresh and the meats( Ham, Turkey and Roast Beef) were moist and tasty Breakfast sides were all in attendance and refilled continuously! The Raw Bar (Oysters, Shirmp,... More

I visited Cafe Fleuri on Dec 11th. It was a party of nine people . I expected high quality food and seafood , especially with a cost of $85 a head. I had high expectations. I was wrong. The food was just ok . I was not impressed . The raw bar offered crab legs , but I had a... More

If you have a few dollars to spend on and you are a true chocolate lover then going to the Chocolate Bar ( or Chocolate Heaven as I call it) at the Cafe Fleuri is where you want to go. The variety of chocolate items to choose from both hot and cold is nothing less than astounding. Your eyes, taste... More

You probably want to go here because of the chocolate buffet, right? It's fantastic. It's also $45 for adults and $35 for children (5-12 yrs). Is it great value? No, it's not. But if you want to spoil yourself a day and enjoy something very different it's pretty unique. Live music (at least on a Saturday when we visited) and... More

Cafe Fleuri's chocolate bar was our pick for celebrating my daughter's 21st (and 22 nd) birthdays. It is a beautiful, delicious, and varied chocolate experience. The variety is amazing! The chef truly loves his masterpieces! We were delighted from the fresh fruit dipped in the chocolate fountain to the nutella crepes, cakes and pastries and fresh cookies with milk and... More

This restaurant stand on its own and clearly isn't your average hotel eatery. The service and food are superb. I actually look forward to eating here when I am in town!

The a la carte breakfast is excellent. It is rather pricey but worth it. You can watch the chefs at work as the kitchen is open

I stayed at the hotel for four nights -- breakfast at the Cafe Fleuri was part of the deal, so I can't comment on the prices. Service was always good, though meals from the menu took a while to come out. If you're looking for a leisurely start to the day, this place is it. If you're looking for a... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
