There were a lot of people, but we did not have to wait. Music was too loud for me. Service was pretty good and food was fine.

Visited Boston for the fist time and stumbled into the Barking Crab, they staff as friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was really really good and so many choices, truly truly recommend!

This was our first time in Boston. We read the reviews and decided to check it out. Live music, waterfront dining and great drinks! Love this place!

If you are really a crab aficionado! The place is somewhat messy and the service so-so. Seating is poor and don't expect it to be comfortable. Although a crab aficionado myself, what I got there was not really up to my expectations. I wouldn't say...More

Noisy, fun, food served in baskets and or on paper plates. If you want a romantic meal for two of a business meeting, find some place else. If you want crab or other seafood, we had a good experience plus pitchers of beer I have...More

Stopped by for lunch...although there wasn't a line up, there were no tables in restaurant area and very few left at the bar. Was about 10 minutes before we snagged a few seats. Apparently many had made reservtions...who knew!! Very lively, noisey atmosphere which was...More

I understand that this is an institution. But the setting is mediocre. Not feeling the picnic tables and plastic glasses. The food was good. The service was quite awful. Our server just wandered off when we didn't order in her time frame. I don't care...More

We went for lunch. We had to wait a while before we had our drink order taken and it took forever to get a second drink and some water. Their best bloody Mary was the worst I have ever had, so I do not recommend...More

Very busy restaurant right on the water. Food was good. They serve nice wine in a plastic cup, though, which is ridiculous

Parking is hard due to the construction and court house. There is some meter spots on Northern Ave and a small public lot. Find a spot and take a walk it is worth it!!
