This place was pretty average. I have no complaints about the food, but nothing stood out to any of us as being particularly good. It was just OK. The complaint came when it was time for us pay. The server cleared our table and we asked for the check, at which point she stopped interacting with us for about 15... More

Stopped for a quick bite before going to the Wilbur. A bit loud environment and we ate dinner at the bar. Very reasonable prices for Boston for the food and drinks. I had the sirloin tips which were really good. Decent place which looks more like for locals.

The rudest waitress I have ever come across, absolutely shocking customer service, food wasn't great either. Much more places in Boston to eat that you get greeted with a smile and nice attitude. AVOID

I had been wanting to go to this restaurant for a few years. We finally made our way to Boston and had lunch here. When we walked in it was pretty dark. We were seated right away, our waitress was nice and our food came quickly. I ordered the chicken fingers and my boyfriend got a burger. We were both... More

This venue is downstairs and is double the size it first appears. If you don't see two bars you haven't seen it all. The only shortcoming of this place is the decor. It is a pub. Comfortable, a bit spartan and down home. No money wasted on the furnishings. The service was very good --prompt and pleasant. The food was... More

Nice server. Attentive. Plentiful multicolored nachos chips. Bench seats need cushions. Atmosphere is pretty dingy. No natural light or candles. Sense the food is better than the ambience. Maybe spend some money to make it feel like an interesting pub vs a barren cellar.

We were so busy walking around the Freedom Trail, we didn't want to spend a lot of time in line waiting for food or to be seated, when we stumbled upon this cozy bar and grill. Camila provided EXCELLENT and QUICK service! Good prices for center city!

Below street level bar and restaurant serving up good food and music. There are two sides to the place as you come down the stairs with the bar sitting between the two. Nice portions plenty of side options like truffle fries, mashed, more. Burgers, steak tips, chicken, seafood, salads so something for everyone on the menu. The prices range from... More

Food was average, service was average, atmosphere was below average. Chili was served cold. Waiter mostly forgot about us, and it was not busy. Good value pricing but much better options out there.

It's my first time in Boston and this came out as one of the best place to dine and drink. I went there early for dinner and it was already full-packed. I decided to wait thinking that this must be really good for people to stay and wait. After an hour u finally got a seat at the bar. I... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
