Delicious, and worth the $4 price (I purchased 6, and I think the price is a little less when purchasing 4 or 6?). Anyhow, at any price I would have been happy, and my friends and I devoured them. It is hard to find cupcakes that are both moist AND delicious, but Crumbs made my quest for cupcakes easy!

We were on our way back to the hotel when we Found this place. We had two different cronut, cinnamon and Apple pie, and loved the both. The one named Apple pie was too big for one person, but other than that it was a great visit.

This shop recently reopened after closing for several months. Quite frankly, the cupcakes were better before reopening. I went this morning and bought a cupcake - it was so stale it was crunchy. I would guess that it was at least three days old, maybe more. While the store and the display are very pretty - the cupcakes and their... More

I wanted to fall in love with my cupcake. I really did. In the display case the cupcakes looked big and beautiful and I really had high hopes. I got the blackout brownie cheesecake cupcake. The first bite I thought it was great... but the more I ate it the more mediocre it became. I actually scraped off the rest... More

I have to agree with an earlier reviewer, the cupcakes are pretty bland and very dry, they look quite presentable though. I wouldn't go back, there are plenty of other places to get tasty sweets in the general area, like Rosie's in South Station, for just one example. This place needs a new recipe, we tried 3 cupcakes, not one... More

Short but not very sweet: cupcake frosting is overly sweet but the cake itself was dry. Horrible experience. Great staffperson, but they clearly bake these offsite and who knows how long it was sitting there. Definitely avoid this place

I'm not a sweet tooth but I decided to try out Crumbs bake shop. They have an incredible assortment of cupcakes. I got a delicious chocolate cupcake with two types of frosting. You do pay a premium cause of the quality but it's worth it. Indulge yourself in a tasty treat!

Crumbs has excellent variety and always offers something new. I am glad that the federal street location is now open on Saturdays and has half price cupcakes on Friday nights!

This is a true experience. The employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the product to insure you get exactly what you are looking for, and these cupcakes exceed expectations. For a person like me who is a total dessert-a-holic, this place is very addicting. I have not had one I did not love, no matter what size, and I... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
