I was there one year ago and I was very satisfied; I wrote a very good review, at the time. This year I was back and I couldn't find what made me feel so good 12 months earlier. No place at the table so I had to stay at the counter but it was ok to me. In 2016 there... More

We ate here with our toddler and the staff were great. Food is authentic Italian and we would recommend. Good location for a nice walk after.

Love this place. Sort of like "Cheers" for pasta. Nice setting and great staff. Best in Boston. Can go all the time and never get tired of visiting.

Our friends raved about the Bolognese at Pasta Beach, so almost everyone in our party ordered it on different pastas. The homemade tagliatelle was wonderful, the bolognese sauce average, in my opinion. The lasagna bolognese was the classic presentation. Pre-grated powdery cheese was served in a container on the table to accompany the pasta dishes, a no-no in my book.... More

Pasta Beach is a casual Italian restaurant across from the Greenway. The food is good, especially the pizza and soups. Service is quick, and prices are modest.

Management has now changed the menu and consequently they are rigid on sized portions, etc this makes it difficult to utilize this place as a family friendly / neighborhood go to venue Apparently the ownership sitting in Italy has its own priorities which are inconsistent with potential patrons. (Eat in and/ or take- out) Will not go here again! Plenty... More

This spot is my daughters favorite! When family and friends visit from Chicago, this is thier first choice! From the brick oven pizza, gnocchi to the deserts, they are happy campers. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is casual and inviting. They love to walk it off a bit with the city and beautiful harbor... More

This straightforward Italian restaurant on Boston Harbor won't win any Academy Awards, but it really works - it can be what you want it to be. There is a little bit of a neighborhood vibe with some regulars wandering in and out; a little bit of a traveler vibe with some Boston Harbor Hotel guests looking for a very short... More

Went here with friends for a night out. The night started off great with a drink at the bar, after we finally got the bartenders attention. The bar was not that busy but still took 10 mins to order a drink, but was a good drink. We sat down for dinner, and we were rushed to order and food came... More

Nice cozy but contemporary with delicious wine and food, generous portions. Relaxing with attentive , not pushy service at the bar.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
