Lovely evening! Excellent service for our dinner at the bar. We enjoyed sitting at the bar because it is beautiful and overlooks Comm Ave. Food was amazing.

The duck confit and asparagus salad were beautifully prepared. The duck and lamb entrees were both intensely flavorful with sides that complemented the meats perfectly. The service was slow and then rushed and then incredibly slow. We had the menus for quite a while before...More

We travel frequently to Boston and have consistently been very disappointed with the quality of the food c/w LA, Seattle, SF, Phili or NYC. Finally found a delightful experience -- not without flaws -- but definitely a keeper. Appetizers were wonderful -- excellent duck confit....More

We arrived to this quaint restaurant to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server rather quickly. We asked for a bit of time to look at the wine list, (which is very extensive) as we had just been seated....More

From the minute we walked in the door to the moment we walked out, a great dining experience for my wife and me. The service was correct but relaxed. Michelle's unstudied competence put us at ease. Her wine recommendations were spot on. Lobster gnocchi, followed...More

The location looked great: corner spot, outside seating, view of the iconic Prudential Building. The staff gave it the air of letting us know just how fortunate we were to get a table in the bar. Things start off well. We order three margaritas, and...More

No visit to Boston has ever been complete without dinner at Deuxave yet this last time had us wondering why the slip (subtle as it may be) in service and quality. This previously upscale restaurant which I previously, and accurately, described as "sublime" was something...More

The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but
loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this

Co-Owners Brian Piccini, Executive Chef Christopher Coombs & General Manager/Sommelier Jason Irving are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant's American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave's (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.
