On our last 2 trips to Boston, we have chosen to get a reservation to Deuxave and have been very happy we did. The food is excellent. On this visit the service was a little slow, but we often chalk that up to someone calling-in-sick...More

Slowest service I've had in a restaurant in a while. Drinks ran dry, food took 35 minutes to get to the table, the waiter argued with me telling me duck fat is healthier than canola oil, and the food came our slightly out of order...More

My first experience here was terrific. Romantic atmosphere and great waitstaff. Sensitive and accommodating to food allergies. Thankfully my second experience here was not my first or I would genuinely never return. I notified the restaurant ahead of time that it was a special occassion...More

Had the lobster gnocchi and scallops over risotto. The watermelon soup was my fav even though I only got to taste my friend's, kicked myself for not ordering it. Dessert wasn't the greatest and overpriced but I could live with that and will just skip...More

Great experience, but maybe a bit pricy considering that the food was great, but maybe not 10/10. Waiter was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Good pre drinks and wine to the food.

Have been to Deuxave a number of times. The menu has a number of interesting selections (with a French emphasis) and the food is outstanding. The waiters are extremely knowledgeable, open to working with diners to accommodate dietary restrictions and very attentive (without being intrusive)....More

Mike, our waiter was great, informed us of what might be in short supply. Paid off as date ordered last scallop serving. Will repeat.

Co-Owners Brian Piccini, Executive Chef Christopher Coombs & General Manager/Sommelier Jason Irving are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant's American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave's (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.
