This little hole in the wall is the real deal if looking for authentic Venezuelan food, and the prices are very low. The cachapa stuffed with pernil and cheese was the size of a flattened football. The arepas can be grilled or fried, and the passion fruit juice was to die for. The only issue we had was with parking... More

I want to this small family owned and run restaurant last week in West Roxbury on the recommendation of a friend and I'm really glad I went. It's a small unassuming place with very limited seating(most people order their dishes to go) but the food is great. Their cachapa (traditional corn pancake filled with cheese and meat) is worth the... More

This is a great spot for an authentic Venezuelan arepa. I enjoyed mine grilled with shredded beef and a second with pork carnitas. The garlic hot sauce is a MUST as well. Buen Provecho!

It looks like a dump from the outside. Inside doesn't look a whole lot better. But wait until You get the food - fantastic! Large portions of really tasty food. Prices are low. The people who run the place are very friendly. Overall a great eating experience!

Found this place by mistake once driving in the neighborhood. The place is small yet welcoming and food is delicious and always fresh. Gotta try the arepas and empanadas here. Huge plus!!!

I was driving by in West Roxbury to see the sign with familiar word "Arepa", and decided to try. It was amazingly good food for the price, decor and small size of restaurant. I enjoyed the food, and was able to pay with Amex card which was another surprise.

Quick is relative though. It takes a little while because everything is made fresh; but it is faster than a trip to Caracas. But in the time it took to get my food, I was transported back to my childhood in Venezuela. The most authentic Venezuelan restaurant in the Boston area. I have tried the others and their food is... A small, unpretentious storefront houses this "find" in West Roxbury. The staff speak limited English but serve wonderfully filling, tasty Venezuelan food. Come for the food, not the decor, and be prepared to wait. Its BYOB and you might even need a corkscrew. But the wait is worth it. Many corn and cheese-based dishes with large portions and a welcoming... More
