This palace is the best. Make a reservation way in advance and show up in advance of your time. They value promptness. The menu and wine have something for everyone. Our group of four started with the antipasto platter. It was loaded with, cheeses, meats, peppers, olives and a wonderful pear compote. Our entrees were :the Gnocchi special with peas... More

My wife and I sought out Monica based on recommendations from locals. We had an early dinner since we had been touring all day. My wife had blue shrimp on angel hair pasta and I had Rigatoni con Salccicia. We each had a glass of Pinot Grigio. Our bill before tip was $68.48 and the food was exceptional.

Originally went to Monica's Trattoria, but is currently closed for remodeling...so came to this one and so glad we didn't stop any where else. Had a great table by the window, and perfect recommendations from the waiter. The fresh mushroom ravioli with cream sauce was easily the best version of that dish I've ever had. Service was excellent...always fresh bread... More

My husband reserved a table for our valentine Dinner night and we ran through the menu ahead to ensure there are vegetarian options. On reaching there, we found the place packed and luckily with our reservation, we were able to get the table immediately. I was surprised to see many vegetarian pasta options( besides the regular fettuccine alfredo or cheese... More

When my fiance and I decided to make a trip to Boston, I immediately had a craving for Italian food in the North End. What I didn't know at that time was about Monica's. The staff was friendly and the food....delicious. Can't wait to go back!

I had the lobster ravioli and it was pretty good. As expected, a good wine selection. Good bread. With reservations, there was no waiting on a Saturday night even though it was crowded. For a party of 2 the total was just over $100 including tip.

The service was wonderful. We had a very attentive waitress and she was very polite. The food was delicious and generous for the price. We would definitely return again. The only thing I wish had been different was the music choice. It's an upscale Italian restaurant but they were playing American rock and roll.
