Could have cooked a better steak myself, the lobster ravioli basic, and their "Famous Fries" were not as good as McDonald's

This was our first visit, and we were impressed. We were looking for some not-so-hip-and-trendy atmosphere, and Bouchon delivered. Asheville is a fantastic artistic town, but sometimes the too-cool hipster vibe can be tiresome. This is perfect. It gets crowded, but not noisy. It's does deliver the feel of France, and while the attire is dress casual, the food is... More

I lived in French-speaking Belgium for 13 years, and ate at a LOT of French restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised by my dinner at Bouchon. Atmosphere & décor is reminiscent of a typical small restaurant anywhere in France. Food was very tasty and well-priced. Service was nothing like France/Belgium, and that's a good thing. A restaurant there would have maybe... More

What a wonderful meal that left us wishing we had a spot JUST like this in Atlanta. Comfort food 101. Drinks were great but the food was perfect. Lots of Mmmmm sounds coming from our table.

I have eaten here several times. Every time has been outstanding. Escargot, fries, steak frites, mussels, roasted chicken, sweet breads, OMG. And the real kicker is the African Queen dessert, WOW, rum marinated banana wrapped in puff pastry, baked then caramel sauce and coconut ice cream! It is a go to place anytime I'm in Asheville. Very busy but we... More

We visit Asheville once a year for a winter getaway and there are SO many great places to chooses from and I wanted Bouchon to be better than it turned out to be. Jenny, our server, was very nice. We came around 8:15pm and they close at 9:30pm. The atmosphere of the place is very French feeling. The baguette was... More

We live in Asheville where there is an abundance of great restaurant fare. Bouchon is a staple. I love the mussels with "frites." But the daily specials never disappoint. If you visit in good weather, try to sit in the alley/patio in back.

Atmosphere, service, food, cocktails all were excellent. Totally recommend Trois Fromage appetizer & Steak Frites Bouchon were very delicious and tender.

What a great experience! We ordered all three courses and Brit was exceptional at ensuring the pace of meal was appropriate. The steak and chicken were excellent - perfect evening to end our Babymoon!
