We stopped not the Oyster House for the first time last night for dinner and we definitely will return many more times. We both had the "to die for" clam chowder to start and then my wife had the daily swordfish special and I had the Etouffee which was outstanding. The atmosphere is low key and the patrons are a... Went on a Sunday night, there was a good crowd so we were hopeful. The place is small so there are not a lot of tables. There were 2 servers working and they attempted to handle the crowd but service was very slow. We ordered appetizers shrimp and grilled oysters...4 oysters arrived after about a 20 minute wait then 10... More

I just love this place! Great place to hang out. I've tried the oysters every way they're offered, and love 'em all. They also have fantastic non-oyster entrées and great beer! Give it a whirl.

We arrived for happy hour on a Thursday evening! We ordered some of their brew! They were delicious and we were blown away that they were actually served at the right temperatures! Especially the cask beers! We got oysters on happy hour and they were amazing! Perfectly steamed is how we ordered them! We also had the clam chowder, which... More

Small place with personality. Lady bartenders were attentive and friendly. We had the NC black drum with red beans, rice and crawfish ragout...and sole with saffron crab stuffing, red potatoes and broccoli. Both were excellent, as good as you'd expect at a high end seafood restaurant. Beers were just ok.

This is a cool place when it is not too busy that allows for beers and oysters with friends at the bar, booth, or couches - with outside seating if the weather permits. Be aware that the fish served here is catfish. If you're not a fan, try any of the shellfish options (as they are fried to near perfection).... More

My husband and I stopped at Oyster House Brewing Company for lunch on our way to Burnsville. We sat at the bar and had a dozen raw oysters on the half shell. They were expensive, but fresh and salty. He had one of the craft beers, I believe Dirty Old Blonde, and it was a good light beer. I had... More

My wife and I had lunch here yesterday. We had a side salad, peel and eat shrimp and oysters on the half shell. All were good. I also had one of the craft beers the dirty old blonde and it was also good.

Had a fantastic meal at Oyster House. Great beer selection, friendly staff (Megan is a rock star!), laid-back vibe. We had the Brew Burger and Fish & Chips. Delicious! Bar, tables, couches, & outdoor seating. Wanted to try the clam chowder, steamed shrimp, & etouffee, that'll be on a return trip.
