The food—considering both taste and quantity—was very good. In addition, the décor is very pleasing. Our server was excellent. And the prices were reasonable. In short, this is a place you should try if you haven’t already done so. We ate lunch here, though the restaurant serves both lunch and dinner seven days a week; plus they serve brunch on... More

Wonderful food, wonderful and helpful customer service in the reservations/party planning process before we arrived, and just such an overall pleasant evening celebrating a friend's birthday with lovely music and belly dancing, too. I eat at this restaurant somewhat frequently because I simply love Middle Eastern food, but to want to share this unpretentious restaurant with friends for a special... More

As a fan of Grek, Lebanese, and Turkish cuisine, I was extremely excited that my wife and I stumbled upon this little gem. We were originally going to eat at a different restaurant, but they were still serving brunch and did not have the options my wife wanted. We arrived at Jerusalem Garden just in time for the lunch menu.... More

I look forward to stopping here for dinner each time I've been to Asheville. This visit to Jerusalem Garden Cafe was the third time in as many years, and it has never been less than outstanding. Everything I've tried from the appetizers through the dessert menu has been excellent. The wine list is also quite extensive and you can find... More

As a native New Yorker, I have been fortunate enough to eat at many Midle Eastern restaurants. When visiting, from NY, we ate at this restaurant. And I have to say, it could give some New York restaurants, some serious competition. Each morsel of food was excellent, portions large & service outstanding. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

Just happened to find this restaurant on a tourist map. We were not disappointed. We had moussaka (which was accompanied by sauteed vegetables and seasoned rice) and an order or grape leaves (which came with tzatziki sauce). Everything was absolutely delicious. I only wish the serving size of the moussaka was a little larger. That being said, I left very... More

First time visit for lunch on the Thursday before Easter: while the downtown area was buzzing with tourists, we were able to score a table for four without waiting. This is a good choice to try something different. I can vouch for the pita, hummus & ground lamb kabob as excellent choices. I also enjoyed the largest piece of baklava... More

We decided to check this place out, and the initial experience was less than appealing. While there were open seats, there was not enough staff to handle the orders and the seating. After about 15 minutes, we were seated, and waited another 15 for a waiter. I was coming up with a title for the review while waiting for food,... More

I grabbed a bite on their front patio & ended up with front row seats to a parade that was happening! Great food & great views!

We ate at Jerusalem Garden Cafe and the food was great. Justin, our waitress recommended two dishes for us. I got a special that included two pistachio encrusted lamb chops, grilled shrimp, bacon wrapped-goat cheese filled date, plate. My wife got the vegetable plate, with hummas, eggplant (not one of her favorites) but she loved it, among more good food.... More
