We had a reservation for 7 p.m. The restaurant was full, and two parties were waiting for tables. We were seated at the only open table within inches of where the musicians would be playing. The host apologized for the undesirable seating. We were given glasses of water immediately, and then the wait began. Our waitress passed by us numerous... More

Best hummus I've ever tried. We also loved the atmosphere. Incredible wait staff. We also tried the dates stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in bacon; it was glorious. Overall a wonderful experience!

We got in without a reservation...we had some confusion about whether they even accepted reservations. Luckily we got a table and did not sit on the pillows on the floor. The host got us seated promptly in the back room which kinda looked like a tent. Pretty neat design. We ordered beer, water and tea for drinks. The tea was... More

We went with 2 kids. Lovely restaurant and the food was fantastic. We had chicken, grilled salmon and roasted lamb. All fantastic. The hummus is really one of the best I've tasted.

We were spending a few days in Asheville for the first time and checked out the old downtown. Jerusalem Garden caught our eye, and as fans of Mediterranean food, we gave it a try. The decor and smells enhanced the dining experience. The food was outstanding as was the service.

I have been a patron of restaurants in Asheville for 25 years, long before it became a foodie town. The Jerusalem Garden is somewhat of an old-timer in a town where restaurants come and go annually. There is a good reason they are still in business. Traditional middle eastern fare of the sort you cannot get in your average neighborhood... More

We came here based on TA reviews, and were a bit apprehensive because the hostess was having a hard time seating those ahead of us. But it turned out fine and we had a great waitress, fantastic food and enjoyed the entertainment very much. Happy New Year! Highly recommend the lamb stew, and bastilla of the day. Nicely seasoned

The hummus was great! There wasn't enough bread but they brought us more when we asked. The fattoush was not authentic but might be one of the best salads I've had. The dressing was so tasty! Loved the batata harra potatoes. They were so good we took them back to our hotel and ate the leftovers later that night. Great... More

One of my Asheville favorites. We were able to land a reservation on a busy Friday night - seating wasn't optimal (table right behind the hostess was the last one available on short notice) but staff were so friendly and accommodating that it didn't matter. Hostess and waitress were both personable and attentive, and made terrific dinner suggestions. When I... More
