This restaurant was so fun to eat at! Since it's tapas, the portions are small, but that just means you can share and order lots of different things to try. I don't think anything came out that I didn't enjoy. The bacon wrapped dates were...More

This is the 3 time we've dined at Zambra. After initially being disappointed about 5 years ago, the restaurant must have revamped everything as the food is very good as is the wine selection and wait staff. RECOMENDED!

A lively but still romantic restaurant in a Mediterranean setting serving creative tapas. Pros: interesting ingredients in wide range of tapas, friendly service, warm color tones, lively atmosphere which included a small folk band, and pretty good food (loved the b-sprouts and scallop plates) Cons:...More

Went here with a group to celebrate my wife's birthday. Had a marvelous time. Our waitress was fantastic. Dealing with 10 people at a tapas restaurant is complicated but she did a marvelous job. Zambra has a very nice and varied menu of tapas plates...More

If you look on their permanent menu (on the website), some of the dishes show two prices. The second price is for the item as an entree. We were told the entrees were quite large and are sometimes split.

Our dynamic menu is the passion of Executive Chef Adam. Adam has attained many influences through his training in Europe and New Orleans. Zambra is his modern vision of the tastes and flavors of the western Mediterranean: Spain, Portugal, Gypsy, and North Africa. As an appropriate accompaniment, we have assembled the region's finest selection of Spanish and New World wines. We have been awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence and our wine list has been voted the best in Asheville.
