Wonderful meal at Zambra’s with wine and delightful cocktails. Their daily menu and the regular menu are always full of tasty selections. The Sesame Scollops have become a favorite. Great pork tenderloin this night. They have a helpful staff who can translate and explain the...More

My husband and I went to Zambra for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. When you arrive the atmosphere is sort of Spanish eclectic and not, on the surface what you think of for "date night", but don't judge, it is a great date...More

Excellent food, excellent service. Wait staff knows the menu and is very helpful. Great wine selection. Best tapas in Asheville, and there is stiff competition here. You can’t go wrong here. A must try.

Excellent tapas. We had the pork belly, calamari, beef tounge pastrami, hot tomato soup and some drinks. Our server was very helpful and attentive. I wouldn't change a thing.

Food was wonderful! My favorite was the scallops; outstanding! I went here over a decade ago and it is every bit as good today as it was then. Waiter was superb at recommending food and did a first class job. Food came out quickly. Loved...More

Some locals call Zambra an Asheville institution - one of the oldest restaurants in the city's revitalized downtown. I would agree! Every dish we had was great: flavorful and unique. Service was fast and friendly, and the cocktails were addicting. I would easily recommend Zambra,...More

If you look on their permanent menu (on the website), some of the dishes show two prices. The second price is for the item as an entree. We were told the entrees were quite large and are sometimes split.

Our dynamic menu is the passion of Executive Chef Adam. Adam has attained many influences through his training in Europe and New Orleans. Zambra is his modern vision of the tastes and flavors of the western Mediterranean: Spain, Portugal, Gypsy, and North Africa. As an appropriate accompaniment, we have assembled the region's finest selection of Spanish and New World wines. We have been awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence and our wine list has been voted the best in Asheville.
