The food here is always amazing! Great vibes and friendly staff. I'm very allergic to mango and we told the waitress ahead of time I ordered something quite a while later and she immediately said " the sauce on that has mango but we can...More

We enjoyed Zambra enough to come twice. First, props to the host for seating us in the small back room when we requested a quiet table via on line reservation for our first visit, and then a second time when we specifically requested the same...More

Thanks for the review. We do aim to please. Comfort is our thing here, we are the casual member of the tapas community in town. Curate is refined and worldly. We are comfortable, romantic and poetic.

Up until about a year ago, I considered Zambra's my favorite Asheville restaurant. I made it a point to bring out of town guests to Zambra's for the wonderful tapas and unique atmosphere. But then I could not help but notice the quality and taste...More

I'm sorry, the demeanor of the fake southern accent? I know every staff member quite well and I can assure you, this is just not happening. I really do not understand what you mean by that or where that is coming from. None of our...More

Zambra was a favorite some years ago. We were raving about it. Yet the last few visits were very disappointing. The brussels sprouts used to be crispy and delicious. The last few times it has been chewy and not cooked enough -in spite of us...More

My latest experience with Zambra lived up to the many others I've had. The warm atmosphere is interesting. The food is consistently delicious and the servers are knowledgeable about the wine list.

We came here to celebrate a 50th birthday. The back room was a great location for the 7 of us to celebrate and reminisce of our years of friendship. Great “fun” drink menu I would recommend the Perfect Pear. We had many of the tapas...More

Second time going here. The food is great. It's tapas style so you get to try more things. We love the atmosphere. It is right in downtown Asheville. Especially great romantic date spot.

This is a go-to place for a night out in town. Tapas plates make it easy to try a lot of different things. Low lighting, great cocktails and fun staff make it a great place to meet up with friends, linger a bit too long...More

This is small plates or Tapas style - order 2 or 3 dishes per person to share. It’s not just traditional Spanish Tapas, there are influences from around the world. A tuna tataki dish had Japanese influence and the pomegranate pork rolls were somewhat Chinese...More

I would say probably not. It’s very European and I’ve never seen children there. Also has a busy bar scene.
