Recommended by my daughter - my mom and I ate here on a Saturday night. It is Tapas with a flair! Amazing flavors and fast service. I would highly recommend reservations - we lucked out and ate at a bar high top without a lengthy...More

We were able to get a table at Zambra on a Saturday night even though the restaurant was fully booked with an hour long wait. The host was very kind and accommodating . I don't know why, but he offered to squeeze us in-between reservations...More

Absolutely wonderful experience from getting seated early, to an attentive waitress and superb, fast service. The food was phenomenal and such a surprising blend of flavors. We were impressed with each of our selections. The nook we sat in was super cozy and romantic, right...More

Zambra is a dark place when you initially enter with dining nooks and booths. Food is a mix of tapas and/or larger courses. Quality of food was excellent & tasty. Service from Sarah just as good. One of our better dining experiences in the U.S.A....More

Zambra is definitely underrated here and should be in the Top 10! Dinner for 3 we ordered 9 tapas plates and all were either very good or fabulous! Nice wine list and very good service.

Great ambience! The lamb was so tasty as were the scallops. The sauces make the small plates. Good cocktails. The bread pudding was great! Spiked coffee to finish the night! Thank you!

We enjoyed Zambra enough to come twice. First, props to the host for seating us in the small back room when we requested a quiet table via on line reservation for our first visit, and then a second time when we specifically requested the same...More

Thanks for the review. We do aim to please. Comfort is our thing here, we are the casual member of the tapas community in town. Curate is refined and worldly. We are comfortable, romantic and poetic.

Up until about a year ago, I considered Zambra's my favorite Asheville restaurant. I made it a point to bring out of town guests to Zambra's for the wonderful tapas and unique atmosphere. But then I could not help but notice the quality and taste...More

I'm sorry, the demeanor of the fake southern accent? I know every staff member quite well and I can assure you, this is just not happening. I really do not understand what you mean by that or where that is coming from. None of our...More

I would say probably not. It’s very European and I’ve never seen children there. Also has a busy bar scene.

Our dynamic menu is the passion of Executive Chef Adam. Adam has attained many influences through his training in Europe and New Orleans. Zambra is his modern vision of the tastes and flavors of the western Mediterranean: Spain, Portugal, Gypsy, and North Africa. As an appropriate accompaniment, we have assembled the region's finest selection of Spanish and New World wines. We have been awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence and our wine list has been voted the best in Asheville.
