Went on a Sunday night and it was not crowded at all. Our waitress was really nice and helpful when we asked questions. Food was AMAZING. My favorite was the trout and my husbands favorite was the lamb. So awesome to have 6 little plates...More

Absolutely love the atmosphere at this place. Almost like a Spanish decor and a little bit of a speak easy vibe. Food was fantastic. It is a tapas style restaurant. We tried 4-5 plates and everything was amazing. In particular the gnocchi.

Zambra is a perennial favorite, and even though my last experience there was certainly not my favorite, I shall continue to return. (If it had been my first visit, I wouldn’t be so eager.) Our waitperson, Joshua, was excellent. He’s waited on my prior to...More

I had a chance to eat at Zambra last week and I was pleasantly surprised to find great, attentive service and innovative cuisine. This may be the most interesting food in Asheville these days. Service could not have been better. We were four and we...More

I would say probably not. It’s very European and I’ve never seen children there. Also has a busy bar scene.

Our dynamic menu is the passion of Executive Chef Adam. Adam has attained many influences through his training in Europe and New Orleans. Zambra is his modern vision of the tastes and flavors of the western Mediterranean: Spain, Portugal, Gypsy, and North Africa. As an appropriate accompaniment, we have assembled the region's finest selection of Spanish and New World wines. We have been awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence and our wine list has been voted the best in Asheville.
