Our first time, we went in for lunch, during lunch serving times. Yes, I know this is a sports bar, but they are supposed to have good food as well. Not in our experience. I ordered a Reuben, without bread and asked for salad greens to put the sandwich fillings on. They charged me extra for a tiny side salad.... More

This is basically a beer and casual dining place that exceeds expectations. Take advantage of the nights when they offer $3 local brews. The macaroni and cheese with brisket is amazing. Best place in Asheville to grab a beer and a bite while watching the game. Here is a personal note. I was there to watch the college national championship... More

But he recommended The wings I got, split buffalo and Jerk...both Were Crisp done right and fantastic. Wish I was More hungry to eat more .. great local place

If you can get a table by the window, do it. Asheville is known for its 'interesting people,' and you can get a great seat to watch the action. Street performers can be seen, as well as a great local vibe at Malaprops bookstore across the street. Food is great. Our favorites are the Cubano and the Reuben. Chips and... More

Looked this place up online and was a little put off by the seemingly fine-dining description of the place. We were dressed in sweat pants at the time and not really looking for a table cloth dinner. After passing it on the street we decided to duck in. The food was excellent. Far better than what I would expect from... More

This is first and foremost a watering hole with a tremendous selection of beer. We stopped in for lunch and we're very pleased with our server who was very helpful in suggesting which local brew to try(Gaelic Ale). We ordered fish and chips and the Elk burger. Fish was dry and overcooked with a disappointing barely there beer batter coating.... More

Never have I felt discriminated against in my life till my husband, my two year old and myself walked into this place. We are staying at the Haywood which is connected to this place. After an 11 hour ride in from Tampa we wanted to get some good food to eat and watch some football. After much research with time... More

This place was much bigger than we expected, yet had a coZy atmosphere. We stopped in to watch the World Series and the host was thoughtful enough to ask what game we wanted to watch since they were showing different games in different parts of the bar. After a short wait by the bar, we were seated in front of... More

Every time i come here im reminded the only thing to get on this menu is the Tuna Sandwich. If you stick with the Tuna, you can expect a perfectly cooked tuna steak that is not fishy and full of great flavor! Prob best tuna steak in Asheville. Oh, and their nachos are very good as well (warning, a side... More

We are in Asheville for the weekend and happened upon this charming location for a late evening snack and drink. While I have to eat GF, there were not many options, but the waitress was so helpful. I had a house brewed cherry cider, rosemary popcorn, and homemade GF large pretzels. Everything was fresh, unique and scrumptious! My husband does... More
