Very pleased, always friendly. Very accommodating. They have many benefits, such as a frequent flyer club.

A great BBQ meal at a great price. And our dog goes crazy for the pulled pork, she must be a southern dog?

Used Dickies to cater a party. The pork BBQ was enjoyed, but the turkey was less than average. Sides were relish, and it is a good value.

We are BBQ lovers and particularly love Dickey's. We had chopped pork but took home chopped brisket. There is an excellent selection of delicious sides. The staff was friendly and quite helpful. We do not have Dickey's at home but try to hit them when traveling.

Wasn't sure if there was room in this town for another BBQ house, since we have seen the years of Little Pigs BBQ, Barbecue Inn, Grubbin' BBQ, Woody's BBQ, 12 Bones, Luella's, Okie Dokies, Sqweelin Pig, Moe's Original BBQ, etc. The Dickey's BBQ establishment has been here for a couple of years now, so we took in a late lunch... Having enjoyed the barbeque here in the Spring, we returned on our Fall visit to North Carolina. My husband ordered the beef brisket plate and indicated it was exactly what beef brisket should be; his sides were tasty as well. I enjoyed the barbeque pork on a hoagie roll and the jalepeno beans (just a bit of a kick--not too... More

Your choice of meets, lots of sides and includes desert. In this case, make your own ice cream cone. This is a fast food restaurant but the food is fresh, tasty and prepared right in front of you so you get just what you want just the way you like it. And the barbeque and sauces are excellent. The price... More

I used to eat at Dickey's all the time in the Dallas Area. I was glad to see one open in Asheville. We ordered brisket and probably because most everyone was getting pork or ribs, we got the first slices off of a whone one. It was lean but still fall apart tender. The quantity of meat and sides were... More

It was by happenstance that we came across Dickey's Barbeque Pit on Hendersonville Road. Happily, we enjoyed a delightful lunch and learned more about this eatery. Dickey's is a family-run business begun in 1941 in Dallas, Texas, with franchises starting in 1994. This particular location opened about 5 months ago. Texas-style barbeque is served with a wide selection of sides--slaw,... More
