Chestnut is an American restaurant. We are in a 1920s era building in downtown Asheville, right across for the Aloft hotel and the double decker coffee bus. Parking is plentiful (and cheap) at the public deck under the Aloft Hotel.
Visiting Asheville from NY for only one night, my husband and I wanted to make the most of our one dinner in Asheville. There are so many fabulous looking eateries to choose from, so we read a lot of reviews and finally settled on Chestnut...More
Went to Chestnut a year ago when we traveled to Asheville, and wanted to eat here again. As good or better this time. All the food was delicious -- beet salad, lobster bisque, ravioli, petite tenderloin. And then we were still hungry, so we had...More

Although Chestnut is downtown in Asheville, NC, and not close to the Biltmore House, their sister restaurant, called Corner Kitchen is closer in Biltmore Village. I have not been there, but it is farm to table and they are open for brunch, lunch and dinner. That would be another option for you if you want something closer and they do take reservations. Hope that helps.
