The Junction is a very small farm-to-table restaurant in the river/arts district of Asheville. Charming brick walls and open-air kitchen add to the dining experience. Scallops were large and sweet and sat atop delicious risotto. The wait staff was fun and friendly, and we even had a one-on-one chat with the chef!

We recently selected The Junction to celebrate an anniversary with dear friends and we were not disappointed!! We have dined here before and it was a delight again in every way.....the staff are attentive, warmly greeted by restaurant owner Charles, and we love the creativity of the kitchen chef and staff. We are always amazed at the new menu offerings... More

Wondering dining experience. Staff is excellent and the menu is wonderful with fresh dishes. For our evening we started with orders of pork rinds and cornbread. Both starter were excellent all around. For our main meal we had red snapper with a great collection of veggies and sauces, and scallops with a salad. We will be back to this gem... More

This place is not in downtown Asheville so may get over looked. However it is in the equally cool River Arts District. Best service in town, most likely the owner will be greeting you and taking you to your table. Good chance the chef will bring at least one course to your table. Fantastically creative food full of flavors. A... More

All I am going to say is: Twenty dollars for a blah - nothing special burger on a dry bun served with some made-ahead potato chips brings the whole establishment into question. Done.

We received a gift certificate for this restaurant and it was our first visit. Did not know what to expect. We had 2 appetizers, and 2 small plates. & a bottle of wine. More than enough. We had the cornbread and poached pear for appetizers, both exceeded expectations- The presentation and combination of ingredients melded together nicely. Our 2 small... More

Loved the Winter salad and grilled artichokes. Had the ribs with three different sauces; ketchup cranberry, apple mustard and bacon clementine, yum! their cocktails are innovative. Our favorite was the Bourbon Renewal.

Interesting, fun building in a great location. Attentive wait staff. We had a party of 10 with 3 young children. Not really a family friendly location. When I scanned the menu I expected to be wowed by the food. I was not. Meat and cheese plate was good. The burger for 20.00 was ordinary at best. In all, I was... More

I hate to give a bad review but this place has a lot of potential...great atmosphere, good service, but the food just wasn't up to par. Our appetizers were pretty good but the main course, the $45 entree of lobster tail and Mac and cheese was a joke. The macaroni was way over cooked and it was more like some... More

Passing thru Asheville on my way back to Athens, Georgia on a Sunday and decided to stop in for brunch....I wasn't particularly interested in navigating downtown although I love that part too, but the river district was calling my name... This was my first culinary adventure at The Junction and I was not disappointed. Clean, hip, artsy industrial, just what... More

The Junction is the first full service restaurant in Asheville's River Arts District. We feature Southern-inspired farm to table fare and seasonal craft cocktails with fresh ingredients. We brine our fried chicken, smoke our pears, handcraft our soups and visit tailgate markets weekly. We make our own bacon and ketchup, squeeze cases of citrus each week for cocktails and work with other local, small businesses whenever possible. We invite you to join us after work for a casual beer and a burger at the bar, or to bring your beloved or whole family for a unique dining experience. Our menu features a combination of soups, salads and sharing plates as well as hearty entree options so that every dining experience is unique.
