I have friends that like this place but I don't know why. At one point there was a cute bartender, aside from that I can't think of a positive thing to say about the place.

This establishment has gone from a twist on classic hand-crafted cocktails in an easy setting to a raucous college bright light, almost trashy vibe. The bartenders are kind, but uninformed. Even a simple request for water (with my bourbon) was to go to the end...More
Went here b/c of stellar reviews and concur this is the place for cocktails in Asheville. I had the popular Thalia and my husband had the old fashioned. Cocktails executed to perfection, spotless bar and excellent staff. The drinks are not cheap but cheap =...More
Visiting friends in Asheville for a long weekend. We had been to several bars and restaurants and I had yet to find a drink that wasn't "too done". Seemed like everywhere we went the drinks were over muddled and way too trendy but then we...More

Amazing Chocolate Bacon & The Best Deviled Eggs I've ever had! Two fantastic drinks here ~The Grassy Knoll ~Thalia I suggest both highly!
We had a private party here on the rooftop bar and everything about it was excellent. The staff was incredible and the service was amazing. They made specialty drinks particularly for the party and my guests were delighted. I can't recommend this restaurant and bar...More
We had nearly every special they had and not a single bad tapa. The scallops were gigantic (I wouldn't expect that every time; I think they just had a great catch), the bacon-wrapped pork belly was crisp on the outside, and delicious all over. Korean-style...More
