Have eaten here several times. Good Italian food and excellent service. Reasonable prices. I had the Crab Fettuccine on this last visit. Previously their Spaghetti with Sunday Sauce (Sausage and meatballs ) and both dishes were excellent.

We loved Vinnie's. We visited this restaurant our first night in town. There was an hour long wait (expected) but everything else was great! We did not know that they were having a grand reopening and that they were offering 10% off all meals and a free dessert. Our meal with a garlic knots appetizer came to less than $40.... More

My family and I attempted to eat here on a Wednesday and we arrived at 7pm and were told there was a 1 hour wait. We opted not to wait and returned the next day because the reviews were so good. When we returned at 6pm we were seated right away. We were told they recently re-opened after some renovations... More

My wife had not been back to Vinnie's in a few months so we returned on a Friday night. A little bit of a wait but great martini's while we waited. Personnel had changed a little but still friendly and professional. Food was good - traditional Italian - but the atmosphere, friendliness, knowledge and attentiveness is why we came back... More

My husband and I came to Asheville to run a race and wanted to load up on carbs. Vinnies was recommended, so we tried it, and the experience was super! They open at 5, and we arrived at 5:05, and there was already a line. They had been closed for two weeks for renovations, and the locals were excited about... More

Homemade fried gnocchi appetizer is a must have. Calzones as big as footballs - with fresh cheese and spinach. Friendly and attentive service. Will be returning again soon!

We went on their grand re-opening. The food was sub-par for Asheville. My food was highly garlicky - I like garlic but this was the taste of a lot of raw garlic. Chicken dry and not brined. The waitress was the best part. They do put a nice anchovy on the caesar salad. Wait time was very long from ordering... More

I liked the atmosphere as soon as I arrived--its classic Italian. You are greeted with warmth and sumptuous smells wafting through the air-- perhaps carried by the happy voices of other patrons visiting over their meals or the jazz swing music playing overhead. I was seated in the side dining room, where I was promptly brought my beverage and warm,... More

We had to wait nearly an hour to be seated, but it was well worth the wait. I had the flounder and my wife had the double meat lasagna. They were both very good and our waiter was very knowledgeable and nice. We will go back next time we are in Asheville.

My family and I came into Vinnie's on a Monday evening for dinner, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular! The food, the crew, the atmosphere: A+! We were told that they will be reopening in the beginning of March, due to renovations, so you better believe that I'll be counting the minutes to get back in that joint!... More
