Almost giving it up as we had quite some difficulty find the place for dinner. They have moved for quite a few months now, the new address is 36 NE 15th St Homestead, FL 33030. BTW, we also tried to call but the gentleman replied no English and asked us to call back next day (all in English :-). The... More

You will really have to look for Nicamex if you plan on eating there. It has moved to 15th Street, near corner of Krome Ave. While I have not yet visited the new location, the food at the old location was pretty good.

Good Mexican food. Tacos are authentic. Portions are filling and prices are quite affordable. Chips and pico de gallo (excellent with a slight spicy kick) on the table while you wait for your meal. Family of six 6 for < $60. The new location is 22 NE 15th Street, where the old Oasis Tiki Bar and Grill was

Im heartbroken! El Nicamex has been leveled! It is gone! The whole area is a construction site. Going to be a Dollar Store or something else! We always stopped there! It was the best in Homestead! We've looked everywhere to see if they've moved, but can't find them! Just want you to know.

We have been to every Mexican restaurant in Homestead and this is the absolute best! We live in the Keys and always make it a point to stop here. Salsa and chips are homemade, with great cilantro flavor and fresh made chips. The best dish here is the pork chunks in green sauce. LOVE IT! Have it everytime we go.... More

Food is great for great price but poor service! We stopped by on our way to home (coming back from Florida's keys), my boyfriend asked for tostones and fried cheese as an appetizer, but the girl misunderstood and brought the cheese first and then the tostones! There were two girls serving but the order girl was like we didn't exist!

Our guidebook recommended this place for good Mexican fare. It was on a quiet little dead end street and is very unassuming. The free chips and salsa provided to you when you sit down were very authentic and quite tasty. The enchiladas were excellent and the tacos were good (great shells but lacking a little on the contents other than... More

Delicious, inexpensive Mexican food. Not fancy by any means but the restaurant is clean and the employees were very friendly.

I asked myself "Can a restaurant that serves food on plastic plates with plastic tablecloths be able to achieve 5 on the TA scale?" The answer I decided was yes it can. The food is genuine Mexican cuisine cooked mostly for the local community but it is of high quality. Staff are pleasant and helpful and the food arrives efficiently.... More
