We found this place on TripAdvisor and thought we'd try it for lunch. Off the beaten path but not far at all. It's so cute - you order inside and then go sit outside at picnic tables to eat. We shared an order of Gator Bites (first time having alligator) and Mahi Tacos. The gator bites are very tasty. They... More

I went to Gator Grill for lunch. I ordered the Gator sandwich because I had never tasted alligator meat before. The sandwich looked good and tasted very good. If I would live closer I would have come again.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed an amazing burger and some alligator bites here. Wonderful! It's small, quaint, and just perfect for a South Florida lunch place. Seating is outside on picnic tables or inside along a bar top looking out. The food is homemade right on a flattop grill in front of you. It reminded me of the types of... More

We stumbled into the restaurant during our day in the Everglades. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the fish sandwich. Both were excellent! The cilantro sauce was incredible. The owner proudly told me how she had just made the sauces herself. One of the best meals wet had in south Florida.

Gator Grill is one of the few places close to the Everglades National Park where you can grab lunch. It's not very large and everything is cooked to order so if you're really hungry when you arrive and there's a crowd, grab a snack. The grill is actually in a small converted store. You order inside and seating is in... More

On the same road as the Everglades National Park entrance gate. If you're going to see a few alligators, you may as well see how they taste too. The Gator Grill is a convenient place to pick up a small order of gator bites for about $9. A little tender, a little chewy, with some great Cajun spice.

Was skeptical, but tried the gater tacos and they were fantastic!! We also enjoyed the kebab as well. Would definitely recommend.

If you've never tasted alligator this is a must. Gear is a little tough but good flavor. The food is Cajun style so spicy seafood chowder very good full flavor a little hot.

Stopped in for frog legs ~ Cuban style. Small restaurant with steep prices. Their chili was bland and cold. Frog legs were different ~ smothered in gravy and messy. Canned tea was good. ;)
