Grew up eating at Shivers. Throughout the years have always made it a point to eat there when I visit. Has it own charm. Long tables with benches for many to eat at. The mural on the wall has been there as long as I...More
Shiver's is worth a road trip from Miami to Homestead because the food is unsurpassed. It is a BBQ with benches, paper towel napkins, and funny signs on the wall. Wear jeans - it is not fancy. But everything I have tried on the menu...More

On our way from Key West en route to Jacksonville, we decided to get some lunch. This place had awesome food! All the apps were great, and the beef brisket was on point! You won't be disappointed.
Shannon, Thank you for your kind words! We're glad you enjoyed your brisket. Hope to see you again when you're in the neighborhood! Thank you, Michael
After our tour of Coral Castle, we were referred to Shiver's. Amazing food. I had pulled pork and brisket with corn casserole and sweet potato fries. Wonderful and sinful!! Our waitress was very nice and kind. Our experience was great.
Jane, Thank you for your review! Glad you got to visit the castle. Those people over there are great!

We had the baby back ribs and 3 sides, bbq beans, sweet potato fries, and cornbread souffle. And the salted caramel cheesecake. All were very good, particularly the cheesecake. It's a typical mom-and-pop type, locally-owned restaurant. Comfort food and plenty of Americana at its best....More
