Awesome!! We came in to town on Friday and sat on the patio. Great live music, cold beer and great staff. Excellent food. In fact, we are here 3 nights in a row. Awesome green chili sauce.

I tried Rubios twice in a week and it was bad both times. Chile Rellenos were HORRIBLE, Not really cooked. I ordered take out and it was bad. Aztec is a small town and needs good restaurants but this is not one. Good selection of beers though

Stopped in for lunch passing through town. Seated right away but in bar area. Guess they don't seat lunch in the main room. Many drinkers. Loud drinkers. Clearly townies. Food was excellent though.

I love their chips and salsa. My go-to food...the stuffed sopapilla. Don't forget to get the guacamole too.

We ate lunch today. The Mexican food was -- to our Eastern tastes -- perfectly good -- I had one of Rubio's specialities, and it was delicious. They have delicious local draft beer (as well as other alcoholic drinks). I had an IPA and -- on the advice of the waitress :-) -- a stout: they were both delicious and... More

Good Mexican food and a cheery ambience. The place has a bar as well as a dining room, large enough not to feel cramped in any way. It's not a perfect place. We came in late (at 7:30) and weren't seated for a long time and my order was a little mixed up (I said a side of rice but... More

Good service, decent food. My husband loved his side dish of roasted corn and sweet peppers. Not much tilapia in the fish taco or fish enchilada so I'd stay with other choices.

It may not be the best Mexican Food I've ever had, but it is definitely good and worth stopping in for. Environment is always really nice and we have never really had a bad meal.

Recommended by our hotel and we were not disappointed. We had quesadilla, guacomole, and a chile relleno/enchilda/taco combination. All were excellent. The sauce was great, the beer was cold; and the prices were reasonable. What else could you ask for?

Thank Corliss M
