Sushi? In Moab? I've been disappointed by so many places here. I didn't want another McBurger wannabe so I opted for sushi. I was surprised. I had the chirashi sushi. It was excellent! The sake, very good. I also had sunomono and deep fried tofu. Both good. The also had fresh wasabi. Most sushi places don't have this. Eat here.

We had a very fine, deeply satisfying, and thoroughly enjoyable sushi meal. And in the middle of Utah. What? Yep. A great place. Great service. Highly recommended.

We are always wary of eating sushi in a land-locked location, but I am very happy that we tried this restaurant. The sushi was great, as was the cooked noodle dishes. The best time to get a table is when Sabaku opens at 5 pm. The first night we arrived around 6:45 pm and the only open seat was at... More

Excellent. Sushi was very good and an outstanding selection. Our adventure guide, Eric of Windgate Adventures, pointed it out.

Our party of three (two vegetarians) had dinner on a Saturday night. One person ordered a fish sushi and was very impressed with the flavor and freshness. The vegetarians ordered agedashi tofu (excellent, with crispy small pieces of tofu in a tasty broth), Hidden Valley roll, and the "chef's choice" (not on the menu) vegetarian sushi. The chef's choice sushi... More

Sushi on a road trip is hard to come by. Sabaku definitely did justice to this craving. Small place, so can tend to have a wait time. Great ambiance and service make up for the wait, if any. Does have veggie options.

Very good sushi, particularly for being in the middle of the desert, but get ready for the bill. Be prepared to spend about $50 per person if you want to have enough to eat. Quaint setting off of Main Street that makes for a nice, intimate dinner.

We came here during their happy hour (Tuesday-Thursday from 5-6pm) and it was awesome! The sushi was so good and fresh. Our waitress, Megan, was good at answering our questions and recommending different rolls to try. Happy hour specials were great and the facility was quaint and had a good local feel. Loved it!

Arrived at 6.00 on a Sunday to find all the tables full, so we were asked if we would be happy to sit at the bar. We were...VERY HAPPY! Great place to be as we were able to order direct from the chef, Alex, who was chatty and presented the food beautifully. A perfect Elk Tatiki, and we thoroughly enjoyed... More

Food was delicious - in all fairness they were incredibly busy due to the events over the weekend but just because you are busy doesn't mean you lose your manners... was a bit taken back by the lack of service but understood the stress they were under.
