Great ice cream, with generous portions, at very reasonable prices. Seasonal favorites (like egg nog and peppermint stick in December) and yummy sundaes, too. And the shop is decorated with a mix of vintage country decorations and photos of the local kids sports teams they support. I don't stop every time I drive by, but I want to.

Fantastic ice cream at a good price (damned cheap, actually). Good folks behind the counter, definitely a local crowd. Cash only.

Bring cash. Excellent ice cream selection. Nice antique decor. Feels splendidly rundown. It's real. This is not "antique-chic" by any means.Remus and Romulus (the Sisters) do a good job dishing up anything that suits your sweet tooth. Expect long lines in summer. It's worth the wait.

Huge portions and inexpensive. Large selection. Like stepping back in time. We visited with the family and really enjoyed this. Some tables inside and a couple of benches outside.

Wow... We took a tip from the Shepherdstown Visitors Center today. We were told that Nutter's is a must stop for a treat. Well, they were right. It was like stepping back in time. There was an older lady working the counter who we were told was the owners aunt and she was a hoot. Plus, she dipped a huge... More

A must do end to a day visiting the Antitum Battlefield. Stepping into Nutters is like stepping back several decades. The ice creams are huge and full of flavour.

Went here after touring Antietam Battlefield. Read about it and put it on my list of places to visit. I love icecream and this quaint little ice creamery didn't disappoint. One generous scoop is a kids cone and prices were reasonable. FYI. It is closing Oct.16-23 for some wirk to be done.

This little antique wood-floored ice creamery is located at the corner of Main Street and Mechanic Street (Harpers Ferry Road) in Sharpsburg, Maryland. The family-owned business serves huge portions in cones, cups, shakes- whatever you wish. There is usually a long line out the door, but it moves quickly. It is such a popular destination, the Town of Sharpsburg has... More
