Our party of three waited a bit more than a half hour outside this garage restaurant. Once we were summoned, we entered a lovely space. The hostess was very concerned about my husband's height (he's 6'8") as there were several places he could have hit his head on the way to our table next to the back wall of the... More

Expect some spicy stuff. Expect some waiting. BUT, this place is now my favourite spot for korean food. Portions were generous, fast service, good ambiance, staff was kind. Stop searching and go there, you won't be disapointed :)

I used to live in the sunset area of San Francisco and this Korean restaurant is my absolute favorite place! It used to be a garage and has turned into a kind of neighborhood it place, open till 2am! Great place to go to with friends. I love their spicy pork, kimchi fried rice and seafood pancakes!

I've been to MANY Korean restaurants. I found lots of positive reviews on this place, so I decided to give it a shot. Let me give a quick run down of the night. We arrived, and we had to wait over an hour and a half. There were 4 parties ahead of us. There's a front part of the restaurant... More

The first time I saw Toyose I wasn't sure what to make of it. Only a funky bird design on the front of a garage door. At first I thought it was a club, only to find out from another Sunset local it was a Korean restaurant. The interior is tight, but I would say cozy. Some of the front... More

We call this place 'garage' because the restaurant is in a garage in the outer sunset residential area. Great food and flavored soju. Place is small and gets packed quickly especially on weekends. I love their kimchi fried rice with egg, army casserole (spam, ramen, hotdog, rice cake, veggies, etc), the best seafood pancake (lotsa seafood on thin batter), pork... More

their spam stew is a must for foggy cold san francisco nights. pair that up with a yummy cocktail soju and kimchi fried rice and their chicken gizzard with good company then you've got yourself a good night. the place is a garage converted into a restaurant. very odd but unique.

Such great food and really fast service! It's built inside of a garage and has a really nice set up. I went with a group of people I highly recommend it!

Chicken gizzards in a garage!!!! Yum. Also like their chicken wings, seafood pancake, kimchee fried rice, and of course...the shoju.
