Nothing to write home about but this bakery does have its Russian feel to it and the pastries are big here. You can't find too many bakeries around the Richmond district so this will do! PRO TIP: Get here in the morning before 9am it's less busy.

A fine selection of soviet foods and goods. The baked goods are quite tasty and good to snack on for dessert

Had some wonderful Russian pastries here, so delicious! Good coffee as well. A small unassuming cafe with a few small tables so gets full quickly in busy times. Well worth the visit - recommended !

This bakery shop is full of luscious pastries of all kinds, always freshly made. I highly recommend the poppy seed rolls. My partner is a pastry-oholic, and he was in seventh heaven.

This is a very interesting place ... First of, it's really authentic Russian bakery. And it's not just food. Probably anyone who grew up in the former Soviet Union countries in the last 50 years would find here a piece of that world. Pretty much every town, large or small, had a bakery with very much the same food and,... More

I say I never miss a visit in any of the Russian bakery that dots along Geary Blvd.! There's so many goodies to look at and the food/goodies are delicious! We always buy piroshki's any kind and or chebureks. If anybody hasn't tried any of these, do try. They also have pastries and they're not expensive!

This is my favorite place to get piroshiki. They are really inexpensive ($2.50) as of right now, and they are shaped like a burrito. I grew up with the round ones, but these are amazing. I also really like the pastries here. The mother in law cake is excellent. So if you are in this area, and looking for a... More

Small unassuming place, had to stop. Friendly Staff, fabulous looking food and Pastries and more. Creme Brûlée extremely good. Could eat 10 or more. Piroshki's looked fabulous, wish I'd had gotten a couple to go. Got there near closing and had just eaten dinner. The pastries are so beautiful. Take a stroll in here, you won't be sorry.
