This place has the most incredible prosciutto sandwiches! Possibly better than any I’ve had in Italy. Great store with pasta and other fresh items for sale. This place will definitely be on my list every time I visit San Fran.

Very fresh ingredients with great selection and wonderful service. We walked there after visiting Chinatown, ate our lunch outdoors at a small table.

Go early if you can! Arrived around 10:30am to find street parking and no line at Molinari's (must've been our lucky day). Reminded me of a great NY deli; it was perfect in every way! Excellent meats, cheeses, olives, and sandwiches. Go hungry and enjoy!

A San Francisco institution! Great deli meats perhaps the best in SF. Parking maybe challenging but definitely worth it!!! Enjoy

Nestled like punctuation on a street full of riotous restaurants and late night rendezvous, Molinari Delicatessen is a solid spot to grab a delicious sandwich, a drink, and some salads to head to Washington Square Park! Do yourself a favor, buy one of their salami...More

It's not easy to find an authentic Italian deli in San Francisco, especially if you have ever lived in the Northeast (NY, Boston, etc.). Molinari consistently has great food and sandwiches available at fair prices. I would recommend getting one of their specials, but you...More

Lucca in the Mission is cheaper (and quite good), but for ravioli & sandwiches, this is the place locals search out.

I love Molinari’s! They have the best dried salamis, imported tuna, sandwiches, cheeses, etc. The lines can be long, but the banter is worth the wait. A San Francisco institution and treasure.

This place stays true to the traditional delicatessens! They have the freshest breads, meats, and fair prices to go with them! Five stars all-around.

Got a tip from a friend about this place. I had high expectations and this place exceeded those far and beyond. It was so good so I’m getting in to get another sandwich.

As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's
Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique
neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic
streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs
awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on
dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who
gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or
practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands,

Sorry I never noted any gluten-free foods there - wasn't a focus for me. They might sell some gluten-free uncooked pasta; but don't believe their deli foods selections (sandwiches or salads) have a gluten free... More
