Our first stop in San Francisco and it was completely worth the walk. The taste of the dish, combined with the soft and pleasing atmosphere. Well worth a try to any couple or family vacationing in San Francisco.

Since this was my first visit, I decided to have the traditional basil fried rice as a lunch special. It was very flavorful, with the right amount of "heat". The portion was generous and filling. Definitely consider this place.

Benjarong was recommended by Hotel del Sol. We had just arrived in San Francisco after a long 2-day drive. I wanted "real food" and had been craving Pad Thai. Benjarong hit the spot! The Pad Thai was perfectly cooked and delicious! The pork dish was equally flavorful (but spicy despite our request for zero on the hot spices). Jasmin rice... More

Classic Thai food, expertly prepared. We had the prawn rolls served with a sweet and sour sauce. They were very crisp without being greasy. Also went with traditional dishes of Tom Yum soup and Chicken Larb. Both were delicious, as good as what we have had in Thailand. For an entree we had a Thai pork stir fry with vegetables... More

My husband son and I ate here twice on our recent visit. It was well-located for our hotel on Lombard Street and we wanted somewhere local since we were tired after a long day of sightseeing. On the first occasion we arrived quite late, but we were seated with no hesitation. The service was prompt and friendly and the food... More

We were the first people in the restuarant so thought we'd be served quickly by the only waiter working, but we were about the fifth and that was only after my daughter went up and asked the waiter if he could be so kind to take our order, after the food finally arrived, it was fine nothing special though, then... We walked from Fishermans Warf to this Resturant based on other reviews . Food was excellent. Fresh and tasty. Tom yum soup excellent. Green curry chicken very tasty. Fresh rolls lovely. We would love to give a 5 star rating but the service was a bit odd The waiter was a lovely person. However he seemed stressed by 5 tables... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
