We had many different dishes which all were very tasty. Ming the owner came over and talked with us. This was our first time there. Ming introduced us to some great dishes. Myself the ginger rice, rendang, martabak, chicken satay to name a few was great. Ming was very gracious and friendly. Great place to eat to try different foods.

I've been here a few times over the years. Yesterday I went for lunch with a friend visiting from out of town, and I brought along my year-old kid. We arrived at about 1:30 p.m. The restaurant is a few blocks away from the crowded 9th and Irving intersection, so it was a little quieter and had some tables open.... More

There were three of us and we split curry noodles, shrimp noodles and laksa. Each dish was tasty and, other than the laksa, were close to authentic representations of their Singapore/Malaysian equivalents. The laksa was more like curry noodle soup instead of authentic Singapore or Penang laksa. But overall, the food was good and it's as close to true Singaporean... More

This small, cozy, Indonesian restaurant is very convenient to UCSF hospital, medical center, and medical school. It's located in a basement, so the windows are up toward the top of the walls, but it's still bright and sunny. The food is simple, tasty, satisfying. I had the Chicken Satay meal (with rice, fresh cut-up fruit, fresh salad with yummy dressing... More

Sometimes this place is really great but other times not so much so since the menu tends to change at times.

Friendly service and good food flavor. Curry had just the right flavor and overall taste very good. Not a fancy place. It's a kind of basement, very casual. Good portions and the prices are reasonable.

This is a Mom & Pop type restaurant, we tried the roti (flat bread) appetizer, it was very good. But we thought the curry dipping sauce was a little bit to watery and while it is curry flavored it did not add to the bread. We also tried the Indonesian fried rice which was good, the laksa soup and the... More

Loved the martabak and curries. Very casual and pretty quick service. Not a fancy place, reasonable prices (by SF standards). Authentic.

I had dinner here with my family and another family. We had Roti Pratha, Beef Rendang, Garlic Noodle chicken, mussels, steamed fish, Char Kway Teow and Sambal Mix Okra/Green. Everything was very good. The owner came by to make sure we had a good meal. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed some Asian pancakes and noodles here recently. Sauce is delicious and the menu is pretty long.
