A small, family run restaurant that serves authentic Sardinian cuisine. Sardines, spaghetti with bottarga and luscious prawns. My wife and I regretted that we were not with a larger group, so to have the opportunity to taste more dishes. As those foods passed by we...More

La Ciccia provides one the best opportunities you'll ever have to enjoy fine dining -- even if this small restaurant (25 seats maybe?) is a bit off the beaten track hidden in Noe Valley. Everything was fresh, homemade and delicious; still, I particularly enjoyed the...More

This is the second time on a visit to SF we have taken a taxi to this excellent restaurant. It’s quite a way from downtown but very much worth the trip. It has a very good Sardinian menu and wine list and is always buzzing.

Sadly, the absurd prices that have infected so many of the “destination” restaurant in the tech-infested town (my hometown) are now ruining the best neighborhood spots. I just got back from a month in Paris for work: the quality to price ratio in Paris (or...More

Agree. Don't wear a baseball cap. But, then, my navy experience says don't wear a hat indoors at any time.
