This is one establishment I always visit when in San Francisco. I'm quite partial to their pancakes and waffles. I've had their stack pancakes, Swedish pancakes, and pecan waffles on different occasions and enjoyed them all. For breakfast go before 8:30am to avoid long cue.

To be honest, there aren't a lot of great options for Breakfast in SF. So, this is one of the OK ones, their little dollar pancakes are fun. I wasn't happy they were out of "real" syrup. They seemed like they nickel and dimed you...More

Excellent place to eat...visited 3 times for diner...great ambiance..fab and knowledgable service team....Food is great...steaks were seriously good. The fact that folks are queuing to get in to eat throughout the day is a testament to how good this place is.....recommended

We came here for breakfast on our first morning and it was lovely - beautiful inside and lovely friendly waitress and good service. The food is scrummy - huge portions - it certainly sets you up for the day

I read some of the negative reviews and it is clear their expectations don't match what sears delivers. It is a coffee shop. You don't go for the decor or the refined service. At breakfast you go there or eggs, omelettes and pancakes cooked any...More

A bit pricey compared to the other places we went to breakfast for during a three week road trip in the US, but definitely the best breakfast we had. Good amount of food, well prepared. Crowded, we had to wait 10 minutes in line, but...More

While this place isn't in the nicest of neighborhoods, it's worth the trip. The swedish pancakes are amazing as well as the cornbeef hash. Only had breakfast here. Worth the wait in line.

Really loved the vibe of this place, where we made a point to arrive early for breakfast before a tour pickup nearby. So glad we did. The food was excellent, our server brisk efficient and cheerful. Portions are big, and don't miss the Swedish pancakes,...More

I happened to stumble across this little gem while walking around one evening. I loved the fact that they have been around since 1938. As soon as I walked in, they were very welcoming and the service was excellent. The menu had quite a bit...More
