Thought maybe the place would be packed on a Friday night at 9pm. But no. Got a table straight away. Very nice Italian style cafe/restaurant. Waiter was swift and helpful. We had Tuscan calzone, Pizza Margarita and a spaghetti side order. Food was very good -excellent. Had a glass of zinfandel red which was mediocre. All in all - recommendable,... More

We found this hotel across from the Sheraton at Fisherman's Wharf. We got seafood and pasta and a bottle of wine. It was delicious. Our server was friendly. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and also cozy and romantic. A really nice restaurant. Not a tourist trap, that's for sure. There were locals at the bar.

Pescatore is just a block or two from Fisherman's Wharf. It focuses on seafood. Our server was wonderful and seemed to know many of the people who were eating there. Every member of our family enjoyed their dish, but the $200 price tag for a family of 5 seemed to be too much. It felt more like a $100 meal.

We ate here as it was local to our Hotel and found it so good we had to come back a second time. Nice friendly staff, Good service and freshly cooked food all of a good quality and a reasonable price. Loved the fresh pastas and seafood and of course the deserts. Would definitely recommend as a place to try.

We were directed to this restaurant by the concierge at our hotel just around the corner because we were tired and wanting a quick, fuss-free, reasonably priced meal. Pescatore met all the above criteria and the food was delicious too. Fresh pasta and pizza, with an excellent choice of sauces and toppings and friendly, helpful staff. A real find that... More

We had several meals at Pescatore during a family reunion, in groups of 2 to 15 people - breakfasts, lunches, dinners and nightcaps. The food was always very good, and the service was wonderful. The restaurant is casual but very convenient to the tourist spots at Fisherman's Wharf. On the nice days, the sidewalk tables were a pleasant option for... More

We popped in here and had a quick dinner in the bar. Pizza was very fresh. Tuna entree was awesome as was the tomato soup. Our son has the crab ravioli and that and the salmon entree were well received as well.

I took my kids here for dinner our 1st night in San Fran last week because we were staying at the Tuscan, and just wanted a close quick dinner before bedtime. We were seated at the bar and while the food was good and the service was friendly, it was very slow. Took 10 minutes to just order a water... More

This was a lucky find. It's off the beaten path of fisherman's warf under a hotel. A smallish restaurant with descent prices for san Francisco. Fish and pasta. I will definitely be back. We took the trolly from union park to get here. 2 blocks from the trolly drop off.

A beautiful decor and a wide ranging menu with both seafood and italian dishes. We each had a different fish dish and both were really delicious. Also, an extensive wine list. I had a complex cocktail that was great and my wife enjoyed the house proseco. Our waiter was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Quite a nice experience!!
