Obligatory 7 course tasting menu was uneven but everything was beautifully presented and competently served.

It had been several months, since we dined at Campton Place, and it was too long. We stayed across Stockton, at the Grand Hyatt, so even in a driving rain, only had to cross the street. First, the room is lovely, understated, with several types of seating, from booths along one wall, to larger tables in the middle of the... More

Went here not knowing it was a 2 star Michelin. Two tasting menus ... one vegan, other not. Went with the vegan and was blown away. One of the best meals I have enjoyed.

Oh my! The seven course Spice Route experience was exquisite! Not only is the dining room beautiful and the service team professionally wonderful, but the Chef has created a menu that transcends fine dining. Don't let the "spice" reference cause you hesitation as it represents unique tastings and not "spicy". The meal began with three tastes prior to the seven... More

Very original combination of techniques and flavors. I took my parents here around Xmas and we had a wonderful meal. This place really stands out even amongst all the great choices for Michelin dinners in SF. The service was also perfect.

The flavors of the tasting menu here are subtle and intriguing. Indian influenced, but not overpowering for those who do not favor that cuisine. Service is very good, and the chef will accommodate individual allergies or intolerances. It's a small room, and a loud group can have a jarring impact. A private room for larger parties would be good.

My wife and i dined at Campton Place for our 10th Anniversary and it was magnificent. We experienced the Spice Route menu with wine pairings and both my wife and I were blown away by the food. There is little wonder as to why Michelin has bestowed 2 stars to this gem. Unlike many other Michelin star restaurants, they were... More

We went to Campton Place because its 3 course lunch menu was priced at only $49. I knew Campton was rated pretty high but didn't realize it was a Michelin 2 star restaurant until I saw the sign outside the hotel. For starters, they served an amuse bouche, which was ok. I ordered the curried shrimp naan and the Liberty... More

A memorable and simple yet exotic a la carte brunch. Perfect setting in a nice decor with quite a few art deco furniture pieces. Mise en boucle of aragula, lime and green apple foam. To start with naans with ahi tuna or lamb kebabs. Then crab cakes benedict and duck samosas. Desert was a plate of green apple, chestnut and... More
