We ate dinner here during our vacation. Luckily we were seated near the window so could enjoy the view. Our pecan encrusted salmon and Mahi Mahi dishes were excellent. The service was just OK and the restaurant was quite busy. We found the atmosphere rather...More

Talked to several locals and told to go to Tarantino 's for the clam chowder. They were right. It was some of the best chowder I've eaten and the sourdough bowl was delicious! The whole Dungeness crab was great. It's a must stop for wonderful...More

Like a film set from a 1970's Streets of San Francisco episode, where businessmen with sideburns and leisure suits went for surf & turf with a scotch and soda. I haven't seen so much oak panelling since...never. I recommend going for the irony, if nothing...More

We ate here on our first of two nights in SF, having made it down to Fisherman's Wharf. The restaurant was quiet, as we were early, so service was prompt. The main dining room is upstairs, with views over part of the harbour. We were...More

I thought it would be good food, fresh and well prepared--- well NOT. Service was surely slow I guess because they were not busy and just hung around in the back. Wanted a nice quiet view of the marina, which it was, but in no...More

Ate here for lunch. It's upstairs so it has big windows that overlook the bay area and the boat docks. For the view and location we felt it was very reasonably priced. The service was average but the food was absolutely great, loved the clam...More

We had a dinner and our table was at the window. The view of the harbor with the Golden Bridge behind was so nice . The diner was good and the quality of fishes also. A bit expensive, but the view is there !

The restaurant was decently priced and the crab that I had was delicious. The crab cakes were so so but the calamari was very good.

Location was fantastic. Food was excellent. Service was a little flakey. We stepped in for a quick lunch and found this place way above the typical clam chowder joints with pricing that was cheaper than them Great environment and and very good value lunch

Cracked Dungeness Crab, Clam Chowder, & Cioppino are among guest favorites. Seafood Fettuccine Tarantino, a crowd favorite, Scallops and prawns in a sauce of garlic, herbs, cream, and freshly grated parmesan cheese, is one example of the Italian flavor which is a hallmark of our seafood. For a quick bite, visit Tarantino's Sidewalk Cafe. Our Dungeness Crab are cooked, cracked, and wrapped to go--call in advance for curbside pickup. We strive to provide our customers with a consistently memorable fresh seafood dining experience with a unique San Francisco bay view. Banquet facilities available.
