This place has been around a long long time and we always head there when in San Francisco. Go for an early lunch gets crowded later on. Great food, great view, and lots of history.More

We ate here on a whim and were immediately impressed by the service of the staff and the great view. Food was delicious and prices were fair. Everything was really clean and tidy as well. Would go there again.

We had just arrived in San Francisco after a 13 hour flight and headed to the wharves in our exploration. The staff was friendly and the location great. We both enjoyed our meals that were delivered promptly and were delicious. We will be back!

An old-fashioned, 90-plus year institution in San Francisco, Alioto's Italian Seafood is the shining star of Fisherman's Wharf. The service is terrific, the prices fair, lot better than Scomas, and the selection impressive. I had Sicilian Seafood Stew and it was fresh and delightful.

My daughter and I went upstairs to the dining room. Great view of the harbor, very nice higher end dining experience. I had the seafood risotto and daughter had the bouillabasse. Both meals were delicious.

We stopped in a couple of times for a glass of wine to enjoy the atmosphere. One time we were at the bar upstairs and once downstairs. It is quite popular. White table cloths and elegant place.

I'm sorry I don't know either. I agree with the other's the corking fee would probably be for bringing your own wine. I've been there many times and have not noticed anyone bringing their own wine.
