Enjoyed really good pasta dishes with excellent old school service. Began with clam chowders which to be honest we’re a little thick & may have been sat on hot plate waiting to be served. They didn’t taste as good as prevuonrs we had enjoyed elsewhere...More

Requested a gin and tonic to start and received an amber drink which was not G&T although I was told it was the "organic" version!!! Returned it to the bar and went to wine. The chowder was great with sour dough bread and should have...More

An above average restaurant. I had lunch here on 02/17/18. The seafood is fresh and tasty. Service from Sean H was great. He was very knowledgeable about the drinks and menu. The tour guide had also recommended Scoma's and he wasn't wrong! I would definitely...More

The location is beyond limits. Near the sea, golden Gate and Alcatraz. With the sea lions bulking in the back it’s easy to wait 40 mins to be seated. Waiters vary from cleaners to well knowledgeable wine connoisseurs in old fashioned oversized suites. But that’s...More

We were there on a busy Friday evening, early so that they had a table for two without a reservation. Based upon their excellent reputation and comments from our friends we were looking forward to a nice meal. However, after we were seated, they basically...More

It’s an old fashion but comfortable place. I asked for the crab bisque. It tastes well but a little bit soiled. Also tried the clam chowder. Ver thick and hot, not too flavored as expected. And the crab cocktail. I asked without sauce to taste...More

Scones us always busy, so I would arrive early, otherwise you will have to sit in the bar. Also I'm not sure they take reservations, except for groups
