Had to ask for a menu, waited a long time for 1st course then main came before we finished. Chicken under done, fish raw in centre. Maybe ok when not busy?

Dined at the Balboa cafe on Saturday night. I lived in SF in the early 80’s and this was the place to be. It still is! The vibe and menu hasn’t much and that’s a good thing. Food and service was outstanding!!
