Welcoming, friendly, professional service. Nice decor but can get a tad loud at times. Inflated wine list and a pretentious sommelier. My husband and our dinner companion both wore jackets as requested but there were several other diners who weren't dressed appropriately. Incredible food combinations,...More

Perfect special evening with 3 amuse bouche, wonderful smoked sturgeon, pumpkin seed and lentils second course, tender lobster tail, and choice of desert tid-bits--all delicious with wonderful wines. We think of this restaurant as our #1 dining experience in San Francisco.

The food is great, various courses, including some complimentary courses from the chef. I found the food to be slightly on the heavier side, and the presentations not impressive. Maybe going in, I had higher expectations, but I am not convinced this place deserves all...More

In September, we had the pleasure of dining at Acquerello – and what a dinner it was! First, the restaurant is lovely, from the moment that one enters. It reminded me of a re-purposed church from the turn of the previous century, though there are...More

I assume this is about the Hilton even though it says you're asking about Acquerello. We had one king bed in our room.
