If you like 90s hip hop and low lighting, this is your spot. We came as a group of ten during a business trip to get away from the stuffy restaurant scene. Everyone really enjoyed the food and was pleasantly surprised. The sushi rolls are served family-style which is hit or miss for some. Our waitress did a great job... More

The last time I had come here had been in the first dot-com bubble, spending post-party-weekend Sundays scarfing-down multiple orders of their succulently-creamy Philadelphia rolls, scheming with my buddy on toxic bachelor partying strategies. Fast forward 12 years to last Friday night where I had my vegan family of five plus my nephew and his fiancee. We walk-in and it... More

My husband felt like pizza... I did not! Luckily we agreed this would be our last dinner whilst visiting San Fran. The food was amazing. Fresh and tasty!! We both wish we could have eaten more! The wine and beer was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. A good vibe on a Monday night and the staff were all lovely! Erica... More

Ace is very convenient to many of the motor motels along Lombard street, which was why we were in the area. Reservation was not required on a weekday. Quite a few people were in there, which was a good sign. The sashimi was pretty good. We had one roll that I didn't think was dialed in (I don't remember which,... More

This is located in the Marina District & is in an area packed with small restaurants and bars. 9 people ate dinner. The service was great, the food was fresh and nicely prepared, and the overall atmosphere was ver pleasant!!

This sushi and sashimi is extraordinarily delicious. From the beautiful plating to the incredibly fresh sweet taste of the sashimi and sushi. A true treat. Don't miss the green tea cheesecake either. Totally worth the visit. From D.C. To San Fran!

My fiance and I were recommended this sushi place for our stay in San Francisco for a few days. We walked from Fishermans' Wharf to Marina District and walked in. It was pretty crowded, but luckily a table for 2 had just opened up. It's a pretty small place, but I would've waited awhile. We came in while the Warriors... More

We sat at counter and let the chef pick our plates. Every one was over the top delicious: rocket man, spider, Victoria's secret. Sushi, sashimi, nigiri, salads, kitchen dishes.Beer-wine-sake. Wine list short but high quality. TV. Busy.

Wow, this sushi is amazing. The staff is very cool and helpful. A little bit loud, but nevertheless I went trice, because it is so damn good!

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
