Great taqueria for fast cheap eats. Food is great and prices are so reasonable in the heart of the Mission.

I live in Cambridge, MA and we don't have good Mexican fare here for the most part. My friend took me here to try a Mission burrito. I was NOT disappointed. Oh man! What have I been missing? Flavor for one--the burritos here in Cambridge don't even compare. We also shared some beef tacos which were fantastic. I can't express... More

My first Cancun burrito was in 1996-the vegetarian. Since then, I tried 90% of the menu, but still seem to find my way back to the vege. I have never been disappointed by a burrito and even though I have since moved from SF, I make sure I grab one of these burritos before I leave the city. Also, try... More

I would never think that a pinto bean vegetarian burrito was the bomb, but it is. This is SF at it's finest - hole in the wall done exceptional. If you want the quintessential San Francisco Mexican there is only a few places, and this is one.

Ok, the place is a tiny hole in the wall with some very shady customers but the food is EXCELLENT!!!! We were in SF 7days and ate there 4 different times. I have come to believe the best Mexican food is served in the most unexpected places generally where English is a second language! You can't go wrong with this... More

Every time I visit San Francisco I have to get take out from Taqueria Cancun at 3211 Mission St. This is the BEST Mexican takeout I have ever eaten. My husband gets the largest burrito they make, but I always get the chicken quesadilla supreme. The food is always wonderful. The chips are not good, just average, but that's not... More

Had my first Burrito in SF during a first Trip to the mission. After drinkin a few Beers down the road a El Rio, a Burrito was just what the doctor ordered. I also got fresh squeezed Carrot Juice, which had a very very nice Orange Tint. The food was amazing and the price was so cheap I almost forgot... More

I am sure others have their fave's, but this is in my opinion the best mexican food in the mission district, which is as such, the best mexican in northern california. They are so 'authentic' that besides your typical pulled pork, chicken, or marinated steak, they also let you pick entrails or cow brains. Their burritos have won a bunch... More

They have three different restaurants. I Love the soft tacos...They'll make things any way you want them. Don't try to speak spanish when ordering...it just confuses them. The meat can be a bit tough sometimes but that's common with low-priced mexican food.
