We noticed long lines of people in front of the restaurant during the day- a demonstration of the popularity of the restaurant for brunch. As we seldom have brunch out, wife and I decided to try this Zazie for dinner, a very happy decision! We...More

Simply the best breakfast in SFC to my knowledge. If you get a chance, go there, but prepare for a wait of at least an hour. Conveniently you can chill in the Irish bar next door and they'll come get you. Win!

I'll start with my knocks. First, it's kind of out of the way. Cole Valley isn't one of the hot areas in the city to visit, so you probably will have to make a specific trip to get here. Second, the wait is very long....More

Went here with son and his fiancee to celebrate a birthday. It's unique, tucked in a neighborhood in an older building. The patio is in back, walk through the restaurant to get to it. Vines surround you, and there is heating for a cold day....More

Very creative menu, friendly service. For me, the standout dish was the home fries. Garlic romancing the potato. Bliss on a dish!

I have to say Zazie is in my top 3 favorite restaurants in the city (which could be partially to do with to the fact that I live in the neighborhood and a 5 minute walk to put my name on the list is pretty...More

Came here with 5 friends for dinner on the patio. Prix fixe menu was $49/person for appetizer, entree and desert. I had the goat cheese salad, the salmon and then the mille feuille. The atmosphere is relaxed and the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. The...More

It's no wonder so many sources call Zazie one of San Francisco's top 10: cozy ambience in the heart of Cole Valley; extremely friendly service; flavorful trout with a nice texture consistency; and an exceptional pot de crème. The wine selection is good enough. Highly...More

We had an airbnb in the area for a while on our trip down to LA. We found this place totally at random (I read the reviews here saying there's usually a line but none on a Monday Morning). I have to say it was...More

Two in our party had had brunch and totally loved it. Yes, they had to wait a "longish" time they were seated but reported it was well worth the wait.

There are some gluten free options for Brunch and pretty sure they accommodate for dinner as well. A great menu to pick from.

It is 20 minutes, so you might want to stay in the area once there. Haight and Ashbury is a 5-10 min walk. Golden gate park is about a 10 minute walk as well. We also from there went to 16th ave tiled steps (1700 16th... More

Zazie is a small neighborhood bistro in a historic building in Cole Valley, near the upper Haight and UCSF with a gorgeous well heated garden patio. We are famous for our American style brunch, served seven days/ week, but dinner is the hidden gem- country French cooking at it's best served with warmth.
