We visited this place- even though not downtown San Francisco - not far either, especially as it was recommended by friends. It's considered Vietnamese place and is known for its crabs. Place is simple almost communal seating but friendly. Most of the wait staff spoke broken English and majority of the patrons were oriental (good vibes already). Since only three... More

I could have rated this as 5 if only the service was good. I died with Garlic Noodles and Dungeness Crab! They're really tasty! I can eat here everyday if only I live in San Fran. They need to work on their customer service though. The waiters are not so attentive. We had to call them for more than 5... More

We had a dinner reservation for 6 pm. It was crowd in the main dining room so they seated us upstairs. The food came out sporadically. Starter was fried calamari in a crusted batter that split away from squid when dipped in " cocktail sauce". Frozen or fresh calamari hard to tell. The Dungeness crab around a pound in weight.... This is a very popular place. You may have to wait long to get a table. Go early. Parking is also not easy in the area. Go early. Crab is great. You will easily enjoy one big Dungeness by yourself. Green beans, green papaya salad, they are good.

Roasted and peppercorn dungeoness crab is the best in San Francisco. Came in on a weekday at 7:45pm and was seated right away. We also enjoyed their cubed beef and crab fried rice. Would definitely return.

This minimalist restaurant serves a delicious dinner for two...a Vietnamese cabbage salad with chicken and delicious fried rolls start of the meal. Following it up was an amazing Dungeness Crab smothered in garlic and butter served with noodles and fried bananas and ice cream for dessert. Comments on service were basically true, it was quick and impersonal, but knowing it... More

We arrived at the restaurant just before opening time and already a few people were waiting. We chose the garlic noodles, fresh asparagus and of course the crab! We have never tasted such a wonderful combination of flavours. All washed down with a chilled glass of white wine.

I got a recommendation of this restaurant, especially since it is the season for a dungeons crab. The restaurant is small and with Chinese seating style I wanted to try a few dishes so I ordered the dinner for 2 option It included a cabbage salad with chicken and imperial (pork) rolls both were very good For main course you... There are no two restaurants alike except if they are a fast food chain. For crab, this place is quite recommended. And so is their sea bass.

We made a reservation a day before and when we got there, they "lost" it and we waited an hour. Interestingly, for how popular the restaurant is, the list was short and by the hoards of people waiting you'd think all had reservations. Well it looked like we weren't the only ones whose reservation was "lost". About 3 other parties... More
