We had to wait for 10 min as the place was pretty crowded. Loved the tea leaves salad, and chicken biryani. Didn't have to wait for food long, after we placed the order. Courteous and efficient staff.

The food is fantastic but the wait to get in is harsh. Believe me it is worth the wait. I had never had Burmese food at a restaurant before only home cooked by a friend. This was sublime.

The service is very sweet, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. What more do you want? Because there can be lines, have an early dinner - get there before they open up and enjoy!

The Laksa was sadly lacking in "oomph" and the goreng was uninspiring and greasy. It used to be an explosion of hot deliciousness. The saddest thing is the boiled white rice which does not appear to be of the same standard as before. If I...More

I have eaten here at least 15 times. The Burmese food is excellent, but it is very popular so one often has to wait for a table. They do not take reservations, so best to go early even at lunch and in a small group....More

Everyone in San Francisco raves about this restaurant, so my wife and I went to check it out. Overall, we were underwhelmed. We are adventurous eaters and enjoy going out to eat and even make at home all types of cuisines. After 1.5 hours of...More

There was a line of people outside, so we were glad we made a reservation. The server was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered the calamari, lamb curry, superstar shrimp, chili lamb, and a side of jasmine rice. Everything was very good. A minor comment,...More

It was definitely a long wait for our party of 5 as we watched people who came after us get seated before we were. We informed the hostess the driver was looking for a parking spot, but we can be seated as we can order...More

I'd eat here anytime I wanted a neighbourhood place with great curries and creative Asian noodle dishes. I'd go here with friends, family, or someone with whom you have had a long term relationship. It's not a place to impress someone on a first date.

I don't think they keep the flour dishes separate from the other food but you should be able to find enough dishes that don't have gluten and if you can handle rice, then definitely no problem

Since it is Asian based, they probably have gluten-free mainstays like noodles, and also great salads.

I really have no idea. I don't live in SF anymore, so don't get a chance to use apps there. I just went back for a visit a month or so ago.
