The Bay Area is blessed with incredible bakers, and this is one of the first artisan bakers that showed up years back. The ferry building inside booth offers tons of great options and they are ALL good! Their sourdough baguette is my favorite! Yum!

I swoon over their loaves of bread. It's all I can do not to eat all of them on the way home. Even without butter!

We stopped in here while walking around in the Ferry building and had a raisin roll for while we walked around. There are many different breads and rolls to choose from, all freshly made daily. Acme provides bread for many of the local restaurants as well. This is heaven for a bread lover and it smells divine!

I love this bakery and invariably stop when I'm in the area of the ferry building. Fresh baked bread is steadily coming out of the ovens and is always fresh. I love their olive breads and an olive roll makes a great snack to carry on a hike along the waterfront!

Stop here to get a freshly baked pastry after grabbing a coffee inside the Ferry Building. Lots of different pastries to choose from and impressive selection of breads

It doesn't get much better than fresh bread of any kind first thing in the morning. They have a great selection at the Ferry Building location. It's as beautiful to look at as it is tasty.

What can you say about bread? Acme has been the go-to for delicious bread for years! Get yourself a loaf and a wedge of cheese from Cowgirl Creamery next door and head outside for the best picnic ever

One of the three top bread makers in the SF Bay Area; baguettes are a staple. Better restaurants all over use Acme.

Excellent bread but good new competition from Pain and Firebrand. I especially like the baguette and the olive bread.
